GIRO participated in the Canadian Urban Transit Association’s webinar on innovative solutions for public transport in the COVID-19 crisis. Flavie Gagnon and Pierre Giroux presented concrete examples of how agencies around the world are meeting challenges of the COVID-19 crisis and preparing for what’s next.
As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves rapidly in many countries, GIRO’s clients are at the forefront, delivering essential public transport and postal services. Jean also informed HASTUS and HASTUS-OnDemand clients that GIRO has taken the difficult decision to cancel this year’s HASTUS International and Australasian User Group meetings. We will explore what alternative forms of knowledge exchange might be available during the pandemic, and we will keep you informed of any developments.
