Keywords
To do a search on GIRO’s Web pages, enter the keyword or the keywords that you're looking for, each separated by a space. Do not use stop words (e.g. the, a, an, of, etc.) because the search engine will show all the documents containing these words. By using keywords only, the search engine will show a list of all the texts containing them, with an excerpt of the documents where they appear.
Ex.: A search on work rules will show all the documents containing both the words work and rules.
The search engine allows you to search for an exact expression such as users group meetings for this you just need to type the phrase between double quotes in the query box such as "users group meetings".
Case
The search engine is case insensitive It will respond the same way to either lower or upper case.
Wildcard
You can type in just part of a word, followed by “*”. The search engine will then suggest all documents containing a word starting with the substring you have entered. For example, typing sched* will return all documents containing the words scheduling, schedule, schedules, etc.
