Keolis extends the use of HASTUS to two large operations in Île-de-France
The Keolis Group has given GIRO the mandate to install the most recent version of HASTUS at its subsidiary Les Courriers de l’Île-de-France (Keolis CIF). This new installation, whose purpose is to optimize vehicle and crew scheduling, comes shortly after the installation of HASTUS at Keolis Versailles (Phébus) in 2015. It also follows on from those at other large subsidiaries in Île-de-France, namely Transports Intercommunaux Centre Essonne (TICE) and Transports Daniel Meyer. As a result, the number of Keolis-operated buses managed with HASTUS in the region passes the threshold of 1,000 vehicles.
The flexibility of HASTUS has allowed Keolis to install modules for the optimization of its vehicle- and crew-scheduling functions, while meeting the specific needs of each subsidiary.
“In an increasingly competitive environment, we have chosen to rely on the HASTUS software to obtain the best outcomes taking account of our constraints,” said Pierre Rosier, Area Director of Keolis CIF.
“GIRO appreciates the confidence expressed by Keolis in choosing our HASTUS software,” stated Marie-France Lafortune, Director, Business Development, at GIRO. “The first installation of the software at a Keolis subsidiary in France goes back to 1989 and we are proud of the long-term nature of our relationship. We shall strive to meet Keolis’ expectations in order to increase service efficiency for the benefit of passengers in the Paris region.”
